General Information

The Bolivar Inmensas are Cuban cigars from SwissCubanCigars. They are hand - made, with an origin in Cuba. The format is Lonsdale (Dalia), size 170 x 17 mm (6.7 x 43), ring 43, weight 11.86 g, and come in a box of 25. Each cigar costs $10.

Smoking Experience

The reviewer, who has smoked many Bolivar sizes, finally tried the Inmensas. The cigar was only a few months old, and Bolivar cigars can be enjoyed fresh or aged. After clipping, there was a lot of tobacco in the head, and a Cuban divot was visible.

When lit, the draw was even. In the first two inches, it tunneled once and canoed twice, but then burned evenly.

Taste

  • The smoke aroma is slightly earthy and meaty, similar to a barbecue smell.
  • The flavors include fudgy chocolate and café au lait, with some Cuban “muskiness” in both the aroma and palate.

Strength - wise, compared to the mildest BBF and the stronger Petite Corona, the Inmensas fall in the middle, having rich flavor and body but not being too strong.
