• First third: After lighting, flavours of hay, honey, cedar, a touch of caramel, and toastiness appear. There's pleasing saltiness and tang. By the end, one can feel the strength and headiness, and new flavours like hot chocolate with nuts in a wood fire may come.
• Middle third: A bit more strength, less sweetness for a time, more hay, field, and toast flavours, with sweet notes returning occasionally. A flavour burst like a creamy cappuccino may occur.
• Final third: Darker flavours such as coffee and dark cocoa emerge. Some harshness may come from eager puffing, but pauses can restore the cigar's excellence. A large wave of nutty flavours can be rewarded.

The cigar often has a soft - firm balance. The aroma at the lighting end is sweet, mild, and pleasant. The draw is perfect. It burns slowly and evenly. The ash is quite grey, not pointed, and doesn't hold long due to its slender girth. Cohiba Exquisitos belongs to the original and stronger Clásica line.
