Taste Profile
- First third: After a cold draw with dry, mild spicy wood flavor, once lit, it releases mildly sweet coffee and leather flavors. The leather stands out in the retrohale, with a dry mouthfeel and a bit of sourness, white pepper, nutty flavor, and baking spices.
- Second third: Starts with subtle leather, coffee, earthiness, nuttiness, and baking spices. Sweet baking spices appear, along with some pepper at the halfway mark. There's a bit of citrus, and the cream has a vanilla flavor. The nuttiness and pepper get stronger.
- Final third: The draw is good, better than the cold draw. The ash is not strong and breaks off easily, a bit lighter in color. The smoke is thin, and the burn is straight. It's a medium-bodied and flavored cigar with a subtle, smooth, and pleasant taste.
Compared to the diplomatic version, the regular production one has a wrapper with more veins and looks rougher, feels softer, and has a stronger aroma. There's a bit of tar built up due to its softness. The smoke time is three hours, and it costs €25.60 in the Netherlands.
