- Brand Name: Cuaba Piramides Edición Limitada 2008
- Length: 156mm
- Ring: 52
- Score: 3/5
General Information
There were 5 limited editions produced. It's from Cuba, hand - made, and in Piramide format. The price is around $20 each.
Appearance
The cigar has a dark, almost maduro - like wrapper with a couple of large veins and a sour smell. The combination of regular and limited - edition bands with gold on both is nice. The pre - draw is tight with a strong tobacco flavor.
Construction
It was slow to 'wake up' with a tight draw at first, but soon became comfortable. The burn was irregular but bearable. The ash fell randomly when over one inch long.
Flavor
- One third: It had a powerful tobacco flavor throughout, with irregular notes of coffee and cocoa.
- Two thirds: There was perhaps a hint of sweetness near the middle.
- Three thirds: The flavor remained mainly the powerful tobacco taste.
Value
Currently, it's not worth the price despite its looks. Its future value is uncertain.
Considering it was released in 2008 and was smoked in August 2009, it was too young to show its potential, and it's not recommended to buy a box at present.
