Origin and Production

The Cohiba Siglo VI X Aniversario is from Cuba, produced at the El Laguito factory. It's a hand - made Canonazo format cigar, priced at over $100 each. It comes from the 2002 Cohiba Siglo limited - edition humidor. Only 500 humidors were made, each containing 90 cigars in six different vitolas with 15 cigars each.

Appearance

The cigar has a smooth wrapper with no visible veins, a light - brown color, and a classic taxi - colored Cohiba band with a unique twist. It measures 52 x 5.9, which feels good in the hand.

Taste

  • Upon lighting, there is an intense bouquet of sweet flowers.
  • Subsequent puffs bring sweet - caramel almond flavors, with a hint of tanginess.
  • Occasionally, tea characteristics and a cafe con leche flavor can be detected.

Smoking Experience

The smoke is mellow and smooth, and the draw is just right. It burns well, and the ash is interesting. The aroma is reminiscent of a freshly baked cake. Compared to the Vegas Robaina 5th Aniversario, it has more body while remaining smooth and fresh on the palate.
