, By: John Smith
  • Brand Name: El Rey del Mundo Choix Supreme
  • Length: 127 mm / 5.0 inches
  • Ring: 48
  • Score: 4/5

General Information

Originating from Cuba, it's hand - made at Hermoso No. 4 (Robusto). The size is 127 x 19.05 mm, weight is 14.26 g, box code is JNL SEP 04, and each costs about $10.

Appearance

The wrapper is beautiful with moderate veins, soft and pleasant to touch. There was no pre - light smell.

Construction

The pre - draw was tasteless and tight. It was easily lit with two matches, the draw became comfortable, smoke was ample, and the ash held for 1.5".

Flavor

  • One third: Woody with slight spice, balanced, and easy to smoke. Also had creamy and smooth notes of coffee with milk.
  • Two thirds: More peppery notes appeared.
  • Three thirds: It became more powerful, with rich honey notes mixed with a bit of earth and leather.

Value

It has a decent price/quality ratio, not a bargain.

Overall, it's underrated, suitable for a morning smoke with light coffee and great for beginners. It's definitely worth trying.
