Product Introduction

During the March Festival del Habanos in Havana, Montecristo was a major celebrated brand. Habanos S.A. released the Linea 1935 from Montecristo Marca at the Gala dinner. This line includes 3 full - bodied cigars, adding to existing lines.

Appearance

The Montecristo Maltes has a heavy ring gauge, a trendy, long, and robust size. It has a foot band with the cigar name, though it may slide off. Many new - world cigars have double bands.

Tasting

  • One third: The draw has some resistance, and the burn is constant. It starts fresh with slight spiciness, vegetal notes, and fresh grass hints. Ammonia level is high. There's a soft cedar - wood aroma. The finish is dry, short, and bitter, with light - to - medium strength and light - density smoke.
  • Two thirds: The draw remains resistant. The burn builds a solid ash. Woodiness and earthiness appear, acidity is higher, bitterness is lower, creating a round feeling. The finish is very dry, and the smoke amount is high, filling the room with aroma.
  • Three thirds: Intense woodiness and earthiness develop, with a deep and long finish. There are notes of sweetness and liquorice. The blue smoke is impressive, showing good potential.
