  • Brand Name: Partagas Panatela
  • Length: 127 mm
  • Ring: 35
  • Score: 2.5/5

Origin and Factory

The Partagas Panatela is from Cuba, produced by Short Panatela. It was a pre - 1960 release and discontinued in 2002. It's machine - made and priced at around $6 each.

Appearance

The wrapper is colorado and rough. The single cap and foot look good. It has a slight box - press shape. It's a good size for a quick smoke, suitable for those seeking a cheap option.

Construction

The cigar is a bit underfilled but still stiff. The foot is full and tight. After a clean cut, the draw is up to par, a little tight but barely noticeable.

Flavor

  • One third: It has a medium body with a good amount of smoke. Flavors include tobacco, light spices, spicy cake, and carrot cake through the nose. The ash is dark gray, soft, and detaches easily.
  • Two thirds: Remains at medium body. Carrot flavors turn into macerated dry fruits, similar to Ramon Allones flavor, along with spices and toasted bread.
  • Three thirds: Moves to light - medium body. Shows toasted spicy bread and faint dry fruit flavors. Leaves a short, dry finish on the tongue.

Value

One may not search intensively for it, but would consider buying a box at a low price.
