Product Introduction

The Partagas Salomones is a Double Perfecto vitola. It was introduced in 2008 as a La Casa del Habano exclusive cigar, though it had special releases before, like in the 1995 humidor. Since 2008, it's in regular production and sold exclusively in La Casa del Habano shops worldwide with an extra LCDH ring. Other releases include the Salomones Espanola and smaller versions in different humidors.

Appearance and Aroma

The wrapper is Colorado - colored, mildly oily with one thin vein. It uses the pre - 2002 Partagas ring. It has a mild grassy and hay aroma typical of vintage cigars.

Taste Profile

  • One third: Cold draw is a bit tight due to shape. Flavors start with salt, leather, mild pepper, and cedar. Later, floral sweetness, mild cinnamon, and toast appear. After an inch, a faint Nutella - like flavor emerges.
  • Two thirds: Pepper becomes more prominent, and chocolate slowly strengthens.
  • Three thirds: Sweetness becomes stronger, mellows out later, while pepper gains strength. Flavors also get a bit salty.

Smoking Experience

The draw is great, the light - colored ash is firm, and the smoke is medium in thickness and volume. The burn is straight. It's medium - bodied and medium - flavored. The smoke time is three hours and thirty minutes.
