  • Length: 6 ¼"
  • Ring Gauge: 33

Appearance

The Por Larranaga Montecarlo has a narrow appearance with a dark brown wrapper. A few veins are visible, and the tobacco leaf has a “spotty” look, which is not a flaw.

Construction

The construction is good. It has a nice, even burn and a comfortable draw, slightly tight. The ash holds well, and the smoke lasts around 50 minutes.

  • Second third: banana, spice (nutmeg or cinnamon), mint, and whiskey
  • Last third: cedar with some pepper

Value

At around $5 - 7 a stick, it offers a unique smoking experience. It's not too expensive but can be hard to find. It's suitable for any occasion.

Additional Information: SKU is PORL - MONTE - X1. It's from Cuba. Burn time is 20 - 40 minutes. It was once machine - made but now is hand - made. A box of 25 costs about $125.
