Product Introduction
The Ramon Allones “Allones Extra” belongs to the 2011 Limited Edition collection by Habanos S.A. It's the first Ramon Allones Edicion Limitada cigar since 1837. The cigar's band is historic, adding to its collectible value. Its wrapper, binder, and filler are made of aged Cuban tobacco leaves from Vuelta Abajo.
Appearance
The cigar has a dark wrapper almost without veins. It's not very oily, with a consistent feel. Before lighting, it emits a chocolate scent.
Construction
It offers an excellent draw. It's recommended to drybox it for 1 day. The burn is slightly uneven at first but self - adjusts and becomes completely even later.
Flavor
- One third: The initial flavors and aromas are mild coffee.
- Two thirds: Chocolate notes start to appear and gradually strengthen.
- Three thirds: There is a sweet taste like sugar cane, making it suitable as a dessert cigar.
Value
It's not cheap and hard to find as it's a Limited Edition. One cigar costs about $13, and it's easier to find in boxes of 25. It's worth the price.
