Tasting Notes

  • One third: The ash develops strongly right away, indicating good construction. Flavors start as slightly woody and a bit salty. It has medium strength at first and gets stronger as it warms up. It burns evenly, and there are no notable construction issues.
  • Half - way: Green pepper and dry tea leaf flavors appear, which clash and don't make the blend enjoyable.
  • Two thirds: The smoke density increases and becomes milky. The draw and burn are almost perfect, but the tobacco blend lacks complexity and harmony.
  • Overall: After 35 minutes, there's a lack of flavor development, with similar flavors throughout the smoke. The reviewer plans to try it again in 6 months and then a year to check for changes.
