Taste and Experience
The wrapper is dry, like fine sandpaper, in Colorado brown color. It has a medium - strong aroma of barnyard and forest. The cold draw has a spicy floral flavor. After lighting, it releases spice, cedar, leather, coffee, and black pepper.
- One third: It starts with leather, wood, coffee, earthiness and a little pepper. The mouthfeel is dry, with nut, hay, pepper, salt, leather, and wood flavors.
- Two thirds: It turns more floral with softwood. Walnut and black pepper flavors gain strength, with nuts and pepper dominant supported by wood and some salt.
The draw is initially too loose, improving along the way, causing a wonky burn. It's hard to keep lit at first. The ash is dark and relatively firm. The cigar is medium - full bodied and flavored, with a smoke time of three hours and ten minutes.
