The premium handmade Cabaiguan No 52 cigars were created by a team of master blenders, Jaime Garcia and Pete Johnson. These cigars feature oily silky tan colored, and thin-veined Ecuador Connecticut wrappers from the highly volcanic region of Ecuador. The wrappers are glistening and creamier than their Connecticut Shade counterparts. These cigars are filled with carefully selected Nicaragua long fillers and binders. These tobacco leaves are very spicy, with notes of dark chocolate, espresso, beans, and cayenne. Tatuaje Cabaiguan No. 52 cigars are full-flavored but medium-bodied, all thanks to the Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper. A small city in the Northern Sancti Spirites, Cuba, called Cabaiguan inspired the name of a cigar line by Tatuaje cigars. The city is home to many world-class and successful cigar rollers.
The cigars are produced at the Pepin Garcia factory in Miami and are available in boxes of 24, except the petit in a box of 50. They have a neutral taste with notes of cedar, leather, dark coffee, and pepper. They are available in various vitolas: Belicosos Fino (5 ½" x 52), Petite (4 ½" x 32), Imperiales (7" x 47), No 54 (5 ⅝" x 54), Corona Extra (5 ⅝" x 46), and Robustos Extra (5 ¼ x 50 ). Cabaiguan cigars have impeccable construction, a beautiful look, a nice draw, and an excellent aroma. Their notes are complex but balanced.
