Joya de Nicaragua is Nicaragua's first premium handmade cigar manufacturer, established in 1968 in Estelí. The company remains 100% Nicaraguan-owned and produces cigars sold in over 40 countries .

The brand operates its own factory in Estelí and has won multiple industry awards including UK Cigar Producer of the Year (2018) and Factory of the Year (2018-2020) . Current production focuses on existing lines with occasional limited editions like the 2021 Joya 20th Anniversary box-pressed cigar .
