Product Introduction

The H. Upmann Magnum 50 Cigar is a Cuban cigar crafted from tobaccos in Cuba's Vuelta Abajo region. It's a medium-bodied cigar with a Colorado wrapper and a stylish red double band.

Appearance

The cigar is 16 cm (6.3 in) long, with a large and impressive size. The Colorado wrapper and red double band make it beautiful.

Construction

It has a consistent construction, with a razor-sharp burn, comfortable draw, and thick, silver-white smoke.

Flavor

  • One third: The pre-draw has a woody taste at first, followed by a spicy after-taste. The first puffs bring a mix of cedar and black pepper for about an inch before smoothening out.
  • Two thirds: Coffee and chocolate flavors appear, smooth and creamy.
  • Three thirds: It's mostly roasted coffee, lacking a little complexity, but the finish is pleasant.

Value

It's not a cheap cigar, but the price is suitable for a Cuban cigar. The H. Upmann Magnum 50 meets expectations, and even young cigars (JUN 08) are good. Keeping some in a humidor to see improvement with age is recommended.
