Product Introduction

The Romeo y Julieta Cazadores is a Cuban classic. It comes in a 25-cigars box. It's a hand - made cigar from 1998, with a price of about $7 - 10 each.

Taste Experience

  • First Third: After cutting the triple cap and toasting the foot, it has a tight draw, producing dense creamy smoke with a grassy flavor and a subtle tingle on the tongue. Then light coffee flavor appears. The draw loosens, leaving a dark gray ash. It's quite mild but flavorful.
  • Second Third: Retrohaling through the nose gives a short burst of white pepper. Overall, it has a slightly bitter hay profile. Around the halfway mark, the burn may canoe, but can be corrected.
  • Final Third: Light pepper becomes more prominent, accompanied by a soft nutty tone and the original hay flavor.

The wrapper of this cigar looks rugged with veins, a couple of wrinkled seams, and green water spots. It has a musty barnyard smell. Stored at 70% RH, reducing the humidity before smoking may improve the flavor.
