Appearance
25 - count boxes are box - pressed with inconsistent shapes. Some are rectangular at the foot and round at the cap. The sample had a round cap to the centre then became semi - box pressed. After 3 months in the humidor, odd shapes reduced. It has a double band, a deep - brown wrapper with visible veins, and a well - applied triple cap.
Construction
The wrapper stayed intact. Cutting and draw were good until the final inch. The ash was beautiful, reaching an inch. The burn wavered slightly and self - corrected. Only one re - light was needed in the final inch.
Flavor
- Pre - light: Woodsy aroma with tobacco, cedar, wood, and spice hints.
- First third: Woodsy tone with salt, velvety and thick smoke, peppery woodsy earthiness.
