Product Introduction

This cigar is from the 2014 Regional Edition program but was only released in 2015 in countries supplied by Caribbean Cigar Corporation. It comes in boxes of 25 and is hard to find today. The 'Edmundo' size is rarely used, mainly seen in some special editions of other brands.

Taste

  • First third: Overly sweet coffee with dry leather, earthiness, mild pepper, wood, and a little salt. Coffee later becomes a supporting flavor to sweet leather.
  • Second third: Harsh bitterness under sweet leather, along with pepper, nutty flavor. Nuts gain strength, and sweetness disappears around halfway. Leather becomes stronger.
  • Final third: Less balanced, a bit harsh and bitter. Main flavor is wood, supported by soil, coffee, and a lot of pepper. Bitterness grows.

Other Features

The wrapper is oily but rough with slight discoloration. The cigar is soft with a harder spot under the ring. It has a very mild wood aroma. The cold draw tastes like salted peanuts. The draw is good, the ash is light - gray, and the burn is straight. It's a medium - bodied cigar with strong flavors and a smoke time of one hour thirty minutes.
