Appearance
The wrapper is medium brown, with a smooth texture and plenty of oil. Surface veins are scarcely visible and incredibly fine, and the construction appears flawless.
Construction
The burn and draw meet high expectations. After lighting, the draw is neither too tight nor too loose, and the burn is nearly perfect.
Flavor
- Overall Flavor: The flavors are rich and complex, with prominent notes of tobacco and nuts against a backdrop of wood and earth, interspersed with apricot, cherries, and other fruity flavors.
- Last Third: The last third still has a "green" taste, which is surprising considering its ageing.
Originating from Cuba, it's hand - made and each cigar costs $20+. Despite the slight imperfection in the last - third flavor, it's an outstanding stogie, and the reviewer hopes it will be perfect in a few years with 7 left in their collection.
