Product Introduction

The Casa Magna Colorado Robusto is a Nicaraguan puro. It features a blend of expertly aged Nicaraguan filler and binder tobaccos, wrapped in a Honduran-grown Colorado wrapper. It comes in a box of 27 and each costs around $6.

Pre - light Inspection

The wrapper is colorado rosado in color, slightly toothy and flawless. The squeeze is firm all over with no soft or hard spots. The foot shows a visible swirl of light and dark tobaccos. The pre - light aroma is dominated by sweet tobacco with slight earthy notes. The pre - light draw has a "hay - like" taste.

Taste Profile

  • One third: Produces a fairly dark grey ash. The flavor is mainly full - bodied tobacco, with a slight spicy tingle around the tip of the tongue around half - way.
  • Two thirds: Occasional subtle and short - lived ground coffee notes may be detected.
  • Three thirds: Has a slight astringent quality and some slight woody notes from time to time.

The burn is even and consistent throughout, and the cigar doesn't build up tar, fray, or develop an unpleasant taste. It's a great choice for an everyday cigar.
