Product Introduction

Fonseca Cigars are known for light - flavoured Cuban cigars. The Fonseca Delicias is a Petit Corona vitola. It was a machine - made petit corona before 2002 and has been a premium handmade cigar since then.

Appearance

It comes in wax paper, the only Cuban marca to do so. The ring is red, golden, and white, classic in style. The wrapper is dark for a Cuban cigar with a few veins. It feels a bit hard and has an earthy smell with a bit of ammonia.

Taste

  • One third: Cold draw is tight with a dark spice flavor. Once lit, there's a leathery coffee flavor with cloves, then it turns to mud with a thick mouthfeel and mild sweetness, enhanced in retrohale with a bit of pepper.
  • Two thirds: Sweetness remains with pepper and spice. Vanilla and pepper take over with a hint of wood.
  • Three thirds: Gains more pepper, strength, and a nutty flavor.

Smoking Experience

The draw is fine, but the silver - gray ash isn't very firm. The cigar is mild to medium in body and flavor. The burn is great. Smoking time is one hour and thirty - five minutes. It costs €4.10.
