Taste Experience
- First Third: It was very sweet and woodsy, medium - bodied, with a perfect draw and velvet smoke that burned quickly into the second third.
- Second Third: Burned unevenly, produced a white brittle ash with gray tones. Turned leathery, and the uneven burn continued. It burned quickly, so one had to pace to enjoy the aged tobacco flavor.
- Final Third: Had an outstanding effortless draw, returned to a woodsy undertone with a primary nutty taste. Started medium - bodied and ended mild/medium.
Additional Information
The pre - light smell had no notable notes, but the cold draw had heavy mint and tea notes. The cap had a pointed tip, the wrapper was an oily brown with few veins, there was a black spot near the foot, and glue remnants were found on the cap and near the foot. The band was a typical Arturo Fuente band with red and gold embroidery. The Don Carlos line has seven sizes available in boxes of 25.
