Origin and Format

This is a Cuban cigar with a Churchill/Julieta format. It's hand - made using leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region. The size is 178 x 18.65 mm, and it weighs 15.07 g. Each cigar costs around $30.

Appearance

The wrapper is smooth with almost no visible veins. It has a golden - tan color, and there's a slightly darker bunch of filler leaves at the foot. Clipping the end reveals a “bunched” pattern at the head and a honey - like, manure aroma of Cuban tobacco.

Construction

It is well - rolled in Colorado medio, the best leaf from the Vuelta Abajo region. The draw is fine. The burn isn't 100% stable but self - corrects. The ash holds for a couple of centimeters.

Flavor

  • One third: Cedar notes
  • Two thirds: Elegant floral scents
  • Three thirds: Sweeter with chocolate/cocoa notes, mixed with peppery flavors for an outstanding finish

Value

It's a luxury and expensive cigar, the second most expensive Cuban cigar in current production after Montecristo A. It should be well - aged for a good smoke and isn't for everyday use.

It's recommended to smoke this cigar at least four or five years old from the production date. Also, be careful as it's strongly faked.
