Product Introduction

The Cuaba Distinguidos is hand-rolled into a unique double figurado shape, which is the brand's signature. It features a Romeo vitola and measures 162mm by a 52-ring gauge. Originating from Cuba, it's a medium to full-strength cigar.

Cuaba only produces double figurados cigars in 5 different sizes. The Distinguidos is the second largest size still in production. It costs around €12.50 / $14.00 each.

Tasting Notes

  • One third: The start is fresh with tight puffs and cool smoke. It takes time to reach the wide part. At first, mainly burning the wrapper and binder, there are few flavors. A slight saltiness and citrus notes appear later. There's a bit of bitterness towards the end.
  • Two thirds: It gets very strong. Creaminess and nuttiness arrive, but tongue bitterness persists. Towards the end, herbal notes disappear and nuttiness comes.
  • Three thirds: There's a roasted nuts feeling and slight sweetness. The blend is more balanced with almost no bitterness and only vegetal notes. The strength increases, and a new sweet, creamy flavor profile can appear.

Smaller Cuaba cigars can be challenging to draw due to the complex shape, while bigger sizes are more forgiving. This cigar is slow to consume and is best enjoyed after dinner.
