Appearance
It has a 5/5 rating. The cigars are packed in a single - layer, airtight shrink - wrapped sealed box. They are a rich deep brown color, uniform in size and density, not too firm or spongy. There are no spines, and it has a signature torpedo tip with classic Montecristo and Gran Reserva rings.
Construction
With a 4.5/5 rating, there are very few construction problems. The burn may be inconsistent at times but can correct itself or be manually corrected, and the wrapper remains bound throughout the smoke.
Flavor
Scoring 4/5, it offers effortless lighting with billowing smoke. In the first third, there are oak, cedar notes and a slight almond/amaretto aftertaste, then it meanders into earthy notes with complex tastes.
