Product Introduction

The Hemingway cigars originate from the Dominican Republic. They are in the Perfecto format and are hand - made. The wrapper of one version is Sun Grown Rosado, with Dominican filler and binder.

Taste Profile

The Rosado - wrapped Hemingway offers a unique taste. It has a mild spice and a touch of cinnamon, on top of a core of leather and wood flavors. At times, there are also subtle applewood notes. It is a smooth medium - bodied smoke.

Personal Experience

The reviewer, who had been out of touch with the cigar scene due to family commitments, was surprised to find these new Hemingways in the local shop. Having let them rest in the humidor for a month, the reviewer was excited to try them. The Signature Maduro is the reviewer's all - time favorite in the Hemingway series, but the Rosado is nearly as good in a different way.
