Origin and Format

The Chateau Fuente cigars originate from the Dominican Republic. They come in Robusto/Toro formats.

Appearance

The Double Chateau Fuente comes in a cedar sleeve. Inside, it has a vitola with the Fuente brand appearance.

Construction

It has a neat and clean wrapper with a carefully applied cap. There are a few veins, but they don't affect the overall quality. It is easy to light and draw, and the burn is good.

Flavor

  • First third: It can be disappointing at first, but as you keep smoking, the flavors become more complex, with spice, wood scents, and hints of vanilla and cocoa.
  • Last third: It gets stronger but remains flavorful and enjoyable.

Value

It is a great bargain for medium - bodied mild cigars.

These cigars are enjoyable for both novice and experienced smokers. A box of 20 costs around $120. The Queen B has a length of 5.5" (140mm), ring gauge of 52 (20mm), and comes 18 per box. The wrappers are (N)(M)(S).
