Product Introduction

The Alec Bradley Sanctum Robusto is a hand - made cigar from Honduras. It uses tobacco from four countries: Honduran Corojo for the wrapper, Columbian, Nicaraguan and Honduran for the filler, and Costa Rican for the binder. It costs around $7 each.

Appearance

It has a medium - brown wrapper with some oil, giving a faint sheen. There are prominent veins and seams, adding a rustic look. The band is elaborate.

Construction

The draw is slightly tight. The burn line is mostly even, needing only minor corrections. The ash holds tightly and falls in chunks.

Flavor

  • One third: natural tobacco, a hint of fruit, wood, and pepper.
  • Two thirds: nuts become the most prominent flavor.
  • Three thirds: wood and pepper notes are most pronounced.

The flavors are consistent, and the cigar can be smoked to the nub without harshness.

Value

At around $7 per stick, it offers great value compared to more expensive cigars.
