Appearance

The wrapper has a rich golden - brown color, is smooth with an oily sheen and few prominent veins. The label colors contrast nicely with the wrapper.

Construction

It smokes as smoothly as it looks. The draw is perfect and consistent, and the burn is even, needing only minor touch - ups.

Flavor

  • First third: A combination of cedar, oak, spices, a hint of toast and fruit.
  • Middle third: Spices get stronger, with smoky and musky hints and an underlying leather note.
  • Final third: Spicy notes decline, toast becomes prominent, roasted flavors like nuts appear, with a hint of cream and a floral whiff. Leather note is present throughout.

Value

It's a great cigar, and though the price is a bit high, it's well - worth the cost.

The Ashton Symmetry is also available in Belicoso, Prestige (Churchill), Prism (Corona), and Sublime (Toro) sizes.
