Product Introduction
The CAO MX2 Box Press is made in Honduras, with a Toro format. Its wrapper is Connecticut Broadleaf, filler includes Nicaraguan, Honduran, Dominican, and Peruvian tobacco, and the binder is Brazilian. It's hand - made and costs about $7 each.
Appearance
It has a dark brown wrapper with black and silver bands. There's a secondary band saying “Box - Press”. There are large veins on the wrapper, and it looks wrinkled near the head.
Smoking Experience
It has a medium draw, producing thick smoke. The burn line is slightly uneven, thick, and bubbly. The ash is medium gray with a bit of flowering and holds well. The body is medium to full, and the strength is average.
Taste
- It offers a light earthy core with heavy notes of chocolate and espresso.
- There's slight pepper, well - balanced with other flavors.
- The flavors don't change much throughout the cigar.
Compared to regular MX2’s, this box - pressed one has a different and more pronounced flavor profile, perhaps due to the blend or the box press.
