Personal Experience
The author's sister - in - law brought a Casa Fuente cigar from the club. The author had visited the club before but never took notes on the cigar. When inspecting the cigar, the Cameroon wrapper with gold and maroon band looked attractive, with only two tiny spots on the veiny wrapper and a soft spot in the middle which caused a couple of relights at the halfway point.
Taste and Smoking Experience
- Using a wooden match and punch, the first draw was open and easy. The flavors included earthy hints and a soft spice hitting the back of the mouth. The flavors are on the stronger side, but not completely full - bodied.
- The draw produced a nice white smoke that dissipated quickly. The ash had deeper gray/black tones, was flaky and fell easily.
- The finish was shorter than other cigars. With this size, expect a smoking time of around two hours.
Recommendations
If in Vegas and visiting the Casa Fuente Club, have a Casa Fuente cigar and a drink. If you take some home, save them for a special occasion.
