  • Brand: CAO Consigliere Associate
  • Length: 5 Inches

Background

Formerly known as the CAO Soprano Associate, when "The Sopranos" was a hit, CAO got rights to create related cigars. After the HBO contract ended, CAO continued making the cigars with the same blend and logo but a new name. And the price dropped.

Composition

The cigar uses a Maduro wrapper (Mata Fina tobacco) from Brazil, a binder from Honduras, and fillers from Nicaragua, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic. The only change is the foot ring; the original had a red one with the Sopranos logo, while this one has none.

Taste

  • One third: Releases warm spices and coffee, with sharp black pepper in the aftertaste. Flavors include nutmeg, cinnamon, five - spice, and some sweetness.
  • Two thirds: Tastes like dry wood, spices, sweetness, and toast.
  • Three thirds: Starts with spices, soil, and some dark chocolate. Pepper remains in the aftertaste. The last few puffs are harsh.

Other Features

The draw is superb. The light - colored ash drops quickly. The burn is straight. The smoke is thick and full. It's medium - bodied and medium - flavored. The smoke time is one hour fifteen minutes.
